Welcome orchestra students! This weekend, January 19 and 20, marks the beginning of our new semester.
All rehearsals take place in the Fine Arts Building on the Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern University.
Rehearsal Schedule
- Debut Strings Ensemble: Saturday, Jan. 19 from 9 – 9:55 a.m. in room #202 (upstairs)
- Serenade Strings Ensemble: Saturday, Jan. 19 from 10 – 11 a.m. in room #202 (upstairs)
- Lyric Strings Ensemble: Saturday, Jan. 19 from 11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. in room #202 (upstairs)
- Repertory Youth Orchestra: Saturday, Jan. 19 from 10 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. in the Band Room
- Armstrong Youth Orchestra: Sunday, Jan. 20 from 2:15 – 4:30 p.m. in the Band Room
Please arrive 15 minutes early in order to find your place and get tuned up.
We will pass out a new calendar that will be in each student’s folder. This calendar will also be available in the lobby at the info table with Miss Kristi. Please make a special note of the Dress Rehearsal and Concert dates!
We will have an information table in the lobby where you can pay your dues for this semester. Tuition Payment is $175 per child/per semester. There is a tuition discount for families with more than one child in our program.
NEW – Our Youth Orchestra program will now be under the umbrella of the Georgia Southern University Music Department – Continuing Education. Checks MUST be made out to GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY (or GSU). Cash will also be accepted.
