Lela Norras, 2009 Concerto Competition Winner
Lela Norras is the 2009 Concerto Competition winner, performing the Edouard Lalo – Symphonie Espagnole, Op. 21, Allegro non troppo on violin.
Lela Norras is the daughter of Charles and LeAnn Norras. She will be graduating from St. Andrew’s School this spring and plans to attend the University of Georgia next fall. She has studied privately with Jennifer K. Lee for nine years. Lela has also participated in her school strings program studying under Ann Cafferty and Fred Devyatkin. Lela has served as the AAYO concert mistress for the last two years, participated in the 2007 Georgia Governor’s Honors Program as a violin major, and attended Luzerne Music Center summer camp for five years.
